Eco-Hydrology, perceives winter erosion, even when extreme, as an asset and not a hazard. Eco-Hydrology considers the quantity and quality of runoff, and provides for its mitigation, filtration, collection and use for the benefit of the ecology and population. Eco-hydrology is essential to consider in the planning of parks, especially inside urban areas.
